Debby Wisniewski (Klock) Kashgarian

After graduating from BHS, I got a BA in Psychology and Physical Anthropology from Temple University. For grad school I went to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Met my future husband, Guy Kashgarian, in the first class we attended in the Master's degree program: Group Therapy!

Guy and I both completed PhD's in Clinical Psychology while we were gutting and rebuilding a 100-year-old house on the crest of a hill overlooking 3 Rivers Stadium. (We had the best seats for fireworks!) Oh, and with the energy of youth, we had two daughters: Tera b. 1993, and Marina b. 1995, while we were studying for PhD Comprehensive Exams, rebuilding a house, teaching, and seeing clients.
We moved south, where there are not so many psychological practices, and we were able to open our own private practice: Family Works Psychological Center in Wilminngton NC, in 2001!
